Two Gary Lineker penalties either side of extra time saw England narrowly edge past Cameroon in Naples setting up a semi-final against West Germany in Turin. Lineker took the game to extra time and penalties with an 80th-minute equaliser which saw West Germany victorious after two missed penalties from England stars Stuart Pearce and Chris Waddle.
