Notes: The 2021-22 campaign was a season of dramatic, mid-season transition and eventual consolidation for Aston Villa. Despite a winter slump, The Villans rallied in the second half of the season, fueled by the sensational January loan arrival of Philippe Coutinho, to secure a crucial 14th-place Premier League finish. Leading the charge was striker Ollie Watkins, whose 11 goals proved decisive in a turbulent yet pivotal year that marked a new era and safely re-established the club in the top flight.
