Notes - Home shirt from the season when Neil Warnock guided the side to the Championship title and promotion to the the Premier League for the first time in 15 years. They were helped by the skills of Adel Taarabt who proved too good for much of the opposition. However, their was large scale uncertainty over the promotion as confusion surrounded charges relating to third-party ownership of midfielder Alejandro Faurlin and the potential of docked points relating to the transfer. But it was confirmed prior to the Leeds Untied game on the final day of the season that the points deduction would not be applied and the R's faithful could enjoy their day - despite the 2-1 loss
